Zini, me & life in general

Jee Daadi Amma!!!

We have Daadi Amma at home!!! No, i am not talking about Zini’s Daadi. I am talking about Zini herself!!!

She does so much of Daadi-giri with us, you have to see it to believe…Here are some examples of her Daadi-giri!!

Daadi’s day out

Zini and i are going out, so i put her in her seat and fasten the seat belt. then i settle in my seat and go about driving the car.

At this point Daadi amma says “Mummy, Belt Pehno!!!” (Wear the belt)

Me: Jee Daadi Amma!!!

And i dutifully wear the seat belt πŸ™‚

The Bag & the Daadi

Zini and i are going out to the play ground. We are about to leave.

So Daadi amma says “Bag kahaan hai aapka, mummy?? Apna bag pehno!!!” (Where is your bag, wear your bag – i don’t know why she asked me to “wear” the bag, but she wanted me to carry the bag)

Me: Jee Daadi Amma!!!

Do i need to say, i carried the bag??!!

Daadi goes green

Zini is done with sleeping and wants to go “Baahar” (in drawing room). So we leave the bedroom and start for the drawing room.

Daadi Amma reminds me “Mummy, fan band karo” (Turn the fan off)

Me: Jee Daadi Amma (proudly :))

Yes, this little Daadi seems to be green in her thought πŸ™‚

Matti Matti

Every night, hubby, Zini and I have our Matti (Masti-Β Mischievously fun) session, which includes giving ride to Zini on our backs, on our legs and tickling her.

To save herself from the tickling, Daadi ordered her papa “Papa, Matti matti (Masti) karo, mummy saath”!!!! (Papa do the masti with mummy!!!)

Her Papa: Jee Daadi Amma!!!

And her papa took the opportunity to tickle me 😦

Apart from all these, we have her regular Daadi-giri like khaana do, Paani do, yeh le lo, Dikhaao, clean karo and what not!!!! God save us, or not πŸ˜‰
